Greetings to the LAA family.

The Langley Alumni Association held its April meeting in the LaRC Cafeteria and is was an excellent get together with friends and an enjoyable presentation. The speakers were Ms. Jessica A. Wharton, Director-Marketing and PR, and Mr. Ken Spirito, Executive Director, Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. The topic of their presentation will be: “ Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport Update”.

The LAA Board is continuing to pursue information on spousal benefits. President Darden will work with Gail Langevin to acquire the necessary information.

Next LAA Meeting

Put May 14, 2013 on your calendar for the next meeting of the Langley Alumni Association. The meeting will begin at 11:30 in the new wing of the NASA Langley Cafeteria. The guest speaker is David A. Hinton, Deputy Director, LaRC Aeronautics Research Directorate, and he will speak on "Topics in Aeronautics". There will be a brief Board of Directors meeting after the presentation.

To attend Langley Alumni Association (LAA) meetings, Langley retirees can obtain a one-day visitor badge at the NASA Langley Badge and Pass Office. Please bring two forms of government-issued identification. Six-month badges are available to LAA members. For a six-month badge, fill out a NASA form 1760. The form is available from the NASA liaison to the LAA at the monthly meetings. Please allow two weeks to process six-month badges.
