NewsOn January 10 the LAA met in the NACA Room of the NASA Cafeteria, and there was an excellent turn out. We held elections for the 2014 Class for the Board of Directors. The program featured a talk by Ms. Luci Talbot Cochran, Executive Director of the Hampton Museum. She described the Museum and its mission and the history of the region. The LAA Board is continuing to pursue information on spousal benefits. President Holt will work with Gail Langevin to acquire the necessary information. To keep up with activities at the NASA Langley Research Center visit the Researcher News. NASA Langley provides an excellent website on public cultural resources at the Center. Please visit Public Cultural Resources. Next LAA MeetingMark February 14 on your calendar for our next meeting to be held in the NACA Room of the NASA Cafeteria. The meeting begins at 11:30 am with lunch at high noon. The program features a talk by Ms. Kim Hinson, Deputy Director of the Virginia Air & Space Center. She will present a program on the VASC and its mission and describe the exciting exhibits coming up including films in the IMAX Theater. There will be a Board of Director's Meeting following the meal and program.
